Sightseeing in Bora Bora


It is not for nothing that Bora Bora is considered one of the world’s most expensive vacation locations. This tiny island paradise is the ultimate in natural beauty and luxurious accommodation why is why it the favored haunt of some of the most wealthy people in the world. Bora Bora is by far one of the most popular islands amongst the Society Islands of the French Polynesia. Located about 230 Kilometers from Papeete, Bora Bora is perfectly enclosed by lagoons and a barrier reef. Whilst the island is commonly known for its divine beaches, the extent volcanoes of Mount Pahia and Mount Otemanu which are a major draw for tourist. 



Sightseeing in BoraBora is generally focused on taking leisurely strolls down its pristine beaches and soaking in the sun. However there is so much more to do and see during your time spent here. While Matira is one of the largest and most exotic beaches on the island, Vaitape is the only urban settlement that comes closely to what we would probably call a town. The local population in the area is sparse and made up by 8,800 residents however tourists to the area don’t seem to mind the exclusivity and privacy of this divine paradise.
